Year of the Kiwi

first the bad news… i’m too lazy to update my site, i’m running out of money, i can’t find a job,  i think i got caught by a speed camera last night (massive speeding fine to ensue), and i’m coming down with my first cold in forever.

the good news… i won the most incredible hand in pub poker last night. dealt pocket jacks, raised on my turn, guy across from me re-raised, i went all in, he called me on it. everyone had folded at this point. “Do you have queens or better?” he asks. I show my pocket jacks. He shows his pocket jacks. Funny. We start to split the pot. The dealer turns the flop… all hearts. Oh wait a minute here… everyone eagerly awaits… burn and turn. Another heart.  Jaws drop. We look at our cards. I have the jack of hearts.
