My journey has led me to spending Christmas with Dave, Bas, Billy, and her family in Rotorua who’ve kindly and generously welcomed us into their home. I can’t wait for the Christmas BBQ tomorrow, but more thoughts and wishes are with everyone at home. Miss y’all, and Merry Christmas!

There I was a couple hours ago, laying on a couch in Rotorua. Suddenly, the light fixture above me started swaying. I just checked the news a moment ago. Tremors in Taupo. Wellington Wobbling. Distruction in Gisborne. My first earthquake!
